This purchase is for the Totally Medieval Game Board separately to expand the battlefield for a long and more enjoyable game. It is made of a polyurethane foam mat with a cloth surface which means, if you spill on it throw it into a gentle wash cycle in you laundry. This also allows you to carry it around and play on nearly any surface.
Totally Medieval is an enhanced Math adventure that will bring all players on ever-changing adventure pinning groups in history against each other (future versions to include fictional creatures, wizards, and groups). Through its design, game functionality, and mathematics training each player will be able to play the game at their own skill level. (Skill levels adequate for ages 4-100)
To begin we will introduce the Knights Templar and Viking Berserker sets. These enhanced pieces do much more than just sit on your board, they embark on an epic adventure towards their opponents. Traveling through wastelands, mountains, and other terrains to meet their opponents. They may also prepare new strongholds in preparation for their opponent's arrival.
In order to advance, mathematic calculations must be achieved or they may not move forward their turn. This enhancement of adding math to gameplay has shown to motivate youth to enhance their own math skills and growth. This game will continue to grow with you whether you are learning Addition or Algebra 1 and both players may be playing at their own math level.
Soon after this first set is released, we will be releasing other groups from history and fantasy, including Samurai, Mongolians, and then eventually dragons to the mix, to fight for survival and total destruction of their opponent(s). Totally Medieval plays up to 6 players on this epic adventure.
With each pre-order, your name will be placed in a drawing to become one of the four beta-testers. Those who are picked must then agree to try out the game for a five day period and then pass the prototype game to another beta-tester so the game reaches as many hands as possible and everyone possible may share their thoughts and critiques. The prototype will be shipped out by mid-April.
